THIS MONTH IN THE LOWCOUNTRY
Official tri-county numbers from the Charleston Trident MLS (July 2026, the newest report as of September 8): the median sale price was $449,918, up 4.6% from last July, and 1,689 homes went under contract, 6.4% more than a year ago. Closed sales came in at 1,698, about 1.8% below last July. Homes are taking about 47 days to sell, and with 5,697 active listings there are 4.7% more choices than last summer. August numbers post mid-September.
