US-176 Is Getting Wider: A $22.5 Million Grant for the Nexton-to-Jedburg Stretch

• A new bridge over Sandy Creek.
• The federal grant is matched by more than 34 million dollars in county funds through the One Cent Sales Tax.

The honest part: this is not an overnight fix. Construction is expected to begin around the third quarter of 2028. But funding secured is the hardest step, and this is a corridor that badly needs the capacity as Nexton, Cane Bay, and Jedburg keep growing.
